Privacy Notice

What we collect
- Account information — name, work email, password, and role (physician or hospital).
- Physician profile — specialty, NPI, license number, home state, states you'll cover, coverage types (locum / PRN / per‑diem), and availability you enter.
- Hospital profile — facility name, city, state, website, contact name and phone.
- Messages and connections — intro notes and replies you send through the platform.
- Uploaded credential documents — files you choose to upload for credentialing, stored in a private bucket.
- Technical data — standard logs, cookies necessary for sign‑in, and error diagnostics.
We do not ask for, and you should not upload, protected health information about patients.
How we use it
To operate the matching platform: creating accounts, verifying NPI, showing physician profiles to hospitals with matching open coverage, delivering messages, and sending transactional and auth emails. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see what
Physicians see hospitals and their open coverage needs — never other physicians. Verified hospital members see physicians whose specialty and state match their vacancies. Row‑level access rules in the database enforce this on the server; no other user (including other physicians or other hospitals) can read your private data.
Subprocessors
We use industry‑standard infrastructure for hosting, database, email delivery, and NPI lookup. A current list is available on request at support@findmymd.ai.
Retention and deletion
You can request account deletion at any time by emailing us. Account and profile data are removed within 30 days; message history is retained by the counterparty in the conversation.
Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored in a managed Postgres database with row‑level security enabled on every user‑data table. Uploaded credential files live in a private storage bucket accessible only to the uploader and, on a per‑connection basis, the specific hospital they've shared with.
